First Half:
12) A real nightmare from Posh centre half Emmanuel Fernandez as his short pass back just about finds goalkeeper Jed Steer, who kicks the ball straight at the on-charging Dan Agyei from just yards away, with the ball subsequently just evading the back of the net.
20) An excellent pass from Ethan Galbraith finds Tom James free in acres of space on the right flank, the full back drives towards the edge of the box while switching the ball onto his weaker left foot and superbly wraps his long range strike around Steer into the bottom right corner. Orient 1 Peterborough 0
30) The Os continue to assert their dominance on the game trying to hunt down a second goal, knocking the ball around beautifully and creating further chances beyond Peterborough’s back line.
41) The Os are punished for not taking their chances whilst on top. Against the run of play Posh squeezed the ball out wide to Malik Mothersille, Os goalscorer Tom James committed himself far too easily allowing Mothersille to drift past him, playing the ball inside to Kwame Poku, who converted into the bottom left corner from close range.
Orient 1 Peterborough 1
44) Penalty to Peterborough. After some fast slick build up play the ball found its way to Ricky-Jade Jones one on one against Os keeper Zach Hemming, Jones rounded the keeper and was then brought down by Hemming for a clear spot kick. Somehow the Os keeper escapes a caution. The spot kick was calmly dispatched down the middle by Mothersille. Orient 1 Peterborough 2
HT) After three additional minutes it’s, Orient 1 Peterborough 2
45) Poku gets the second half underway
52) Ollie O’neil dances around in the box before firing a blocked effort towards goal which then kindly falls to the feet of Charlie Kelman who controls the ball well and unleashes a strike from inside the box which finds its way through a sea of bodies and into the back of the net. Orient 2 Peterborough 2
54) Orient captain Omar Beckles receives the first caution of the game after recklessly stopping a Posh counter attack towards the Orient goal.
60) The Os make their first substitution of the game with Dom Ball replacing Jordan Brown in the centre of midfield.
62) Orient are really pushing on to find a goal that would put them back in front. After a flurry of corners delivered by Tom James, Dan Happe managed to get his head on the end of one, directing a low bound shot on target which was fairly comfortable for Steer in the Peterborough goal.
72) Peterborough substitute Sam Curtis is booked for taking out Os left back Jack Currie whilst Orient are on the counter attack, which was waved on as advantage by the referee and subsequently led to nothing.
79) A double substitution for the Os as both Brandon Cooper and Jordan Graham replace Ollie O’neil and Dan Agyei.
83) After just four minutes of being on the pitch Brandon Cooper is booked for needlessly tugging down a Posh player deep inside their own half.
88) Orient are really increasing the pressure late on, as the Os search for a winner as the game reaches its conclusion.
90) Four additional minutes added on for either side to try and find a winning goal.
Lewis Warrington replaces Sean Clare for the Os.
Full Time: The game finishes all square 2-2. A decent point for both teams.
