Brentwood CC has celebrated the biggest day in its history after winning the National Club Cup against Northern CC at New Road, Worcester. Ian Livingston was there to witness events and reports back on a great day for the club.
Not such a great week for Essex, as they have finally learnt their punishment for the racist behaviour that took place at the club between 2001 and 2010, but the large fine (half of which is suspended) might be seen as a good outcome, especially as there were no points deducted.
