Of course being a Tuesday, I was joined during the second hour of today’s show by Margaret Mills who chose to tell us about the somewhat Bohemian lifestyle of the portrait painter, AUGUSTUS JOHN, who spent some time living in MATCHING GREEN, near Harlow.
He was accompanied during this visit by his wife, IDA MARGARET NETTLESHIP, his mistress Dorothy or Dorelia McNeill, (described as the children’s maid) and 9 of his alleged 100 children!
If you missed what Margaret told me, you can catch it all again here: –
I very much hope to have your company again next week,
Scott
