You may have heard us playing I Love You I Love You by Bogdan Lech on Phoenix FM recently – but who is Bogdan? We caught up with him to find out more about his life and music.
Tell us a little bit about your yourself?
My name is Bogdan Lech and I have the confidence composing beautiful music in many different genres with lyrics and instrumental as well. I use top quality musical instruments for all my recordings to get the best sound system possible.
I enjoy composing love songs that can touch the audience in every aspect of their lives. I am always thinking of how to make my music relatable and impactful to my audience.
When did you first start to develop a passion for music?
When I was about 7 years old my mom went for a parent-teacher conference and my music teacher asked my mom if I was taking any music lessons. And my mom said “no, he’s not.” So the teacher said he has really good musical ear and he should take lessons to become a professional musician because he is very talented, the teacher added. So my mom came home and asked, “what instrument would you like to play?” I responded with, “accordion.” Because earlier my family was invited to a wedding and I was entranced by the accordionist performing at the event, I couldn’t take my eyes away. So my mom bought me an accordion and paid for all my lessons so here I am today with my own original music compositions.
Which artists did you listen to while growing up?
When I was growing up I listened to Modern Talking, the Beatles, Europe, Lady Punk, Pet Shop Boys, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Queen, Scorpions, and Chris de Burgh, just to name a few.
How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?
If the person likes any genre, they can find something in my music because I focus on various genres.
What music have you recorded and released to date?
I have a playlist, “I Promise You” because the title relates to everyone’s life and we all strive to keep our promises. Modern Talking gave me an idea for my song, “I Give You My Heat” since Modern Talking’s music is very emotional and heartfelt. Another example is the Beatles and they influenced me to create, “I Will Always Remember You” with a soft beat.
Which artists do you enjoy listening to at the moment – and do they influence your work?
Currently listening to Romeo Santos influenced me to create bachata style, “I Promise You.”
Who would your dream collaboration be with?
I’m open to any collaborations, with different artists and labels.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future is to do live concerts, reach out and interact with my audience, and to grow my listeners so that they can fall in love with the music I created the same way I feel when I created it.
