Wes Donze talked about undertaking the Big Swim challenge to swim 15k during September for Sports relief. He supports this charity because it is part of Comic Relief. Money raised goes to a wide variety of worthy causes.

Wes has type 2 diabetes. He feels that swimming and making adjustments to his diet have helped him manage this condition. He swims regularly and spoke about the importance of regular exercise.  Previously he raised money for Diabetes UK by swimming the equivalent of the English Channel, 22 miles in 12 weeks. Wes has no fixed target for his fundraising, just grateful for any support.  Donations can be received via
