Charlotter Winder and Andy Furneaux joined us in the studio last week to talk about Saint Francis Hospice’s new Memory Walk.
The idea of a Memory Walk – a fundraising walk in memory of loved ones that you may have lost – is not a new one but one that’s been gaining a lot of popularity in recent years.
The event will be taking place in Raphael Park in Romford on 8th September – a park I’ve probably walked about 1,000 times myself as it was the closest to the house I grew up in. It’s a beautiful and serene place and it’s hard to believe you’re well into London’s suburbs when you walk around it.
Charlotte and Andy regularly pop down to the station to talk about the latest news and fundraising efforts from the Saint Francis team.
And of course you can hear a lot more of Andy on the station – he presents Boogie Nights every Saturday evening on air with us too.
You can hear the interview again at phoenixfm.com and find out more about the Memory Walk and other Saint Francis Hospice events at sfh.org.uk.
