This afternoon, Margaret Mills took as her subject, a 14th century lady named, ALICE PERRERS, who was at least for a time in the service of the father of the Black Prince, but later she seemed to have become a pretty well to do land owner.
Alice was believed to have been born in 1330 in Castle Heddingham, becoming lady in waiting to Queen Philippa and King Edward III and subsequently becoming a prolific land owner in London, Hampshire and Essex.
If you missed what Margaret told me, you can catch it all again here: –
Hope to see you again next week,
Scott
