On yesterday’s show we featured the music of three composers, Franz Liszt, Anton Bruckner and Frederic Chopin.
Starting the programme with Liszt’s first Piano Concerto, in E flat and with Jorge Bolet on piano accompanied by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. We then played Bruckner’s 7th symphony, with a version by the Vienna Philharmonic.
The Chopin track was his first Piano Concerto, played by the National Orchestra Association.
