Not only was it the last Geezers, Pleasers & Cheesers of the month, it was also the last Geezers, Pleasers & Cheesers of the year! But we didn’t want to break our tradition so we had a few rounds of WHICH CHART WINS YOUR HEART. We started in 1974/1984/1994 and went through to 1977/1987/1997 – and it was a terrific journey. The Geezers ended the year with a bang and included Talking Heads, Stevie Wonder and 10cc. The Pleasers ended 2023 on equally fabulous form and among them we found ELO, Billy Ocean and Slade. And if you thought the Cheesers were going to be outshone as we waved goodbye to 2023, you’d be wrong. They arrived with Boney M, A-Ha and The Spice Girls.
