As it was the last show of the month, as is standard now on Geezers, Pleasers and Cheesers, we had a few games of “Which chart wins your heart” – and it was great fun. We played tracks from the charts on this day in the corresponding year in each of the 70s and 80s; all you need to decide is ‘Which chart wins your heart?’ As ever the Geezers were on fine form with REM, Sparks and Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel. The Pleasers were equally superb and included Mud, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and The Pasedenas. As you’d might expect the Cheesers stepped up and brought Bucks Fizz, Plastic Bertrand and ABC.
