The Arts Programme – 163 – 90’s In My Pocket!

This week Natalie and Spencer took a look at what popular culture looked like in the 90’s. The best in Film, TV, Art and Books admitting that it truly was THE DECADE for pop culture.

From the YBA’s to the Animaniacs. Spencer explored which books hadn’t been made into films yet and Natalie found her favourite songs are from the 90.

We had a 90’s playlist too – from some dance and foo-figher x-files jam to (at our chairman’s disgust for how long ago it was released) No Doubt’s ‘Just A Girl! There were also some ‘tragic’ sounds from Steps and a pink Barbie hit from Aqua.

We also covered what is now in terms of events. Remember to sign up for the Brentwood YAYmates sessions through eventbrite and find out more about the upcoming Romford International Film Festival here: RomfordFilmFestival.

Listen again to The Arts Programme with Natalie and, for this week, Spencer.
