A family in China have more than a little shocked to learn that one of their members, confirmed to have been killed in a road accident 9 years ago is actually still very much in the land of the living.
Both family and friends had identified, the body of ZHUO KANGLUO of Chongqing at the roadside, which was then cremated without an autopsy being done.
Oops!
It seems that the now alive and well man was spotted acting strangely – well I guess you would if you were supposed to be dead – and a DNA test subsequently proved his identity, later confirmed by his grandson.
Local authorities are now trying to establish the identity of the man inadvertently incinerated – I bet they are!
Being a Tuesday, I was joined once more by Margaret Mills, who seems right now to have a bit of a weather fixation.
Last week she was looking at a big storm in Southend-on-Sea and this week turned her attention to a long standing drought which lasted between 1890 to 1910 resulting in 1905 to a rates rebellion in village of Belchamp Water to restore the water supply after the local well dried up.
Listen here to Margaret’s commentary on this event: –
All being well I hope to have your company again next week,
