Celebrate the royal occasion with a Coronation for Care!

Celebrate the Coronation royally by hosting a street party or fundraising your way for Saint Francis Hospice … by order of the King!

The Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort on Saturday 6th May is a momentous day in our history and Saint Francis Hospice is calling on the community to support its Coronation for Care campaign so more people who are seriously unwell, can receive the care and support they need.

“Special occasions like the Coronation give us an opportunity to come together to celebrate and reflect on what matters most to us,” said Lisa Denison, Manager of the hospice’s Local Engagement Team.

“It was the King’s wish that people come together to support a good cause and we’re hoping our community will come together to celebrate while raising funds for their local hospice

“Saint Francis Hospice has been at the heart of the community for 39 years, providing the very best palliative and end of life care to thousands of patients and families at the hospice and in the community.

“We are only able to give our services free of charge thanks to the generosity of our supporters.

“Last year we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and we were overwhelmed by kindness of our community who hosted street parties and events to have fun while helping people who need hospice care.

“We really hope people will feel that sense of community spirit again this year and bring their family, friends, neighbours and the wider community together to host street parties. There are so many ways people can support us – even if they are staying at home and watching the Coronation on the television.

“Our team would love to support you and help you make this an event you’ll never forget!”

Sign up and get your fundraising pack, with expert tips on how to make your event a success. What’s more, the hospice’s Local Engagement Team will help you every step of the way, and share their knowledge and experience on how to make your fundraising skyrocket while putting on an exciting event.
