You may have heard us playing out Soul Tied by Tayler Jade on Phoenix FM recently – but who is Tayler? We caught up with her to find out more …

Tell us a little bit about your yourself?

My name is Tayler Jade and I am a 21 year old who just loves being creative. My whole life I have been making music, singing, dancing, acting, and more.

When did you first start to develop a passion for music?

My passion for music developed when I was 6 years old and started to do musical theater. I just loved being on stage and playing different characters and I have not stopped since.

Which artists did you listen to while growing up?

When I was younger I really just listened to either different Broadway musical songs or anything Disney.

How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?

I would say my music is very much pop with a hint of R&B influence and I like to write about spiritual topics that will uplift people.

What music have you recorded and released to date?

I have recorded and released 5 singles since 2021 and I am currently working on a new exciting project that will hopefully be out soon!

Which artists do you enjoy listening to at the moment – and do they influence your work?

So many different artists inspire me but my favs have to be Ariana Grande, Jhene Aiko, Summer Walker, Victoria Monet, Sabrina Claudio, Madison Beer, and Tinashe.

Who would your dream collaboration be with?

My dream collaboration would 100% be Tinashe because I love her uniqueness to her music as well as a new favorite artist of mine has been Sabrina Carpenter.

What are your plans for the future?

8. I’ll be honest I don’t have a solid plan for the future because I like to stay in the flow of the present moment. I am just constantly working on creating more music and content that I love and seeing where that takes me.
