You may have heard us playing I Came To Win by Lancer Blink on recent shows – but who is he? We caught up with him to find out more about the man and his music.

When did you first start to develop a passion for music?

i started developing my myself at the age of 14, then it was hip hop in Nigeria, there was nothing like Afro beat

Which artists did you listen to while growing up?

The Artist i was listening to was Late DMX, Nate dog, Michael Jackson, sisqo, mary J blige etc.

How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?

My kind of music is inspiring and also describes about a day to day activities reminding you that what ever you are doing you have to be winning

What music have you recorded and released to date?

I have been recording way back in Nigeria, just did not come to limelight by then, Akwa ibom boy was the tittle, and also i recorded a song call Naija Anthem, I was with a group call VC squad, I have open up shows for top artist in Nigeria and also perform many free shows while i was in Nigeria

Which artists do you enjoy listening to at the moment – and do they influence your work?

The artist am listening to at the moment is me, am the New thing in the block. I think at this point have listened to a lot of musicians while growing up, so is time for the world to hear me and be inspired.

Who would your dream collaboration be with?

I would like to collaborate with Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.

What are your plans for the future?

My future plan is to work more on my Rap songs, make more music, collaborate with different Artist, sell out concert and explore the world.
