Tonight I chatted again with good buddy of the show Nick Cody. After a very busy 2022, which included releases with his regular collaborators The Heartache as well as American singer-songwriter Towse, 2023 looks set to be just as full of talking points. One of those is a new collaboration with Black Star Liner, entitled Code E1. As we found out, a Black Star Liner remix of one of Nick’s tracks proved to be quite an eye-opener for him, and the resulting album, Year of the Batcat (written and recorded partly during lockdown), is set for release in May. The first single from the album, Nothing Here Sounds Good, is already picking up radio play ahead of its release next month. Nick also told us about various other projects he has coming up – have a listen to find out more, and check out Nick’s websites www.nickcody.co.uk and www.greeneyedrecords.com for how to get your hands on the latest releases.
