Changing the world for better health; one foot at a time with foot Acupressure.

Whatever we do to affect the world positively is always a welcomed addition especially when it has to do with health, seeing that health is the most important part of human existence. Acupressure is one of those little additions that can make a whole lot of difference in the health sector if we apply ourselves unto it.

We’re all aware that a short foot massage every now and then can really aid us to relax, particularly after a long day of using our legs and walking around, when our feet tend to bruise up. Sure, everyone enjoys it, but does it really have any benefits other than making us feel a bit more relaxed and taking off some of the pain?

There are several different massage techniques that all promise certain health benefits. Traditional therapeutic techniques focus on relaxing the muscles and joints; acupressure seeks to improve general health and energy flow by acting upon specific pressure points; aromatherapy uses scented oils and relaxing music to add an additional element of relaxation by acting upon multiple senses; and reflexology seeks to improve internal organ function by massaging specific areas of the foot.

Kimie Tsuchita (http://no1massage.tokyo/) is an inspiration in this field, she tried to fight the torments she’s had in her early life which include mental and physical pain; those who have a close idea of what’s like to battle with childbirth would perhaps understand more as she also had to deal with that.

Fate took her on a journey where she started to learn Foot acupressure from Re-meister academy. She rediscovered herself and found a life-purpose which was to help change the world for better health through foot Acupressure. In an interview she granted, she underlined her passion when she said— “As a lifelong therapist, I want to bring smiles and energy to as many people as possible. I want to share the beauty of foot acupressure therapy with as many people as possible in Japan and around the world.”

She values human-to-human “heart-to-heart” contact more than anything else, and her lifelong goal is to bring smiles to as many people’s faces as possible. After her Encounter with Meister Academy, she aimed to be a life-long therapist, delivering goodness to the society; one foot at a time. Since then, she has been helping people with various illnesses for more than 30 years. She has treated more than 50,000 patients and 1,000 students.

Kimie has taken the idea of her initiative farther than some would expect because she wants to build something that would not only sustain her idea of helping people through foot Acupressure but also train others like herself.

She’s convinced that her initiative would make a difference in the life and health of many and expressed that when she said— “It will make people smile, cheer them up, and thank them for their support. By working closely with many people, I am able to grow as a person. I believe that by working closely with many people, you will grow, your dreams and goals will become bigger, and you will lead an even brighter life.”

It is always a mark of beauty when people who have had certain unsatisfactory life experiences decide to sacrifice and apply themselves to learning and helping the world.
