You may have heard us playing SECRET MESSAGES by ENKI THING recently on Phoenix FM – and we caught up with the band to find out a little bit more about them.
Tell us a little bit about your yourself?
We are a UFO of 4 musicnauts who have landed on the Rock Planet.
The musicians who make up ENKI THING have played in individual stage experiences (Rockin1000, Alan Stivell, Tony Bonfils, Anna Jacky, Sébastien Charlier) and many more.
What is the philosophy behind your band?
To make you dream with passion and illuminate you with sincerity.
The year 2018 was the meeting of two figures, the cosmos and progressive rock. Our model No gravity (soundcloud) to highlight 2 titles with a fabulous vector of freedom is an anti-dictator is adventure, freedom as independence of July 04 and rock!
The creative is no longer there! Even painters manage to innovate with 3 primary colours. There are no rock bands signed in 10 years! It’s all Hip Hop and urban music and we want to fix it.
How would you describe your music to someone who hasn’t heard you before?
What to expect from the major influence of ENKI THING? Admiral escort Enki Thing bursts into us with an unknown music stamped Anglo-American from the 70s 80s through the rock stratosphere.
What music have you recorded and released to date?
The album “Divinity” landed on 21/01/2021 with 4 tracks suspended in time available on all platforms (including YouTube Music) with the Venus Huracan clip that generateed 25k views in 4 weeks for us.
Our compositions are defined in an elegant and trendy rock (Glam Rock). And if you want more, we have more than 30 recipes in the drawers ready to sign.
2021 sees the landing of the “Divinity” Album, which brings together the four essential elements of the cosmos: Stars, Energy, Magnetic, Gravity. The album Divinity tells a story: In the starry sky, there is a Secret Message of Venus Huracan on this Special Day.
