The police get their “most wanted”

On today’s music packed programme, we enjoyed two crime related stories.

First off we “herd” that last week that police had managed to catch a man on the run from the scene of an alleged crime by combining their efforts with that of a herd of cows.

Using a helicopter Devon and Cornwall police had traced a suspect’s movements whilst he was trying to flee the scene but after he tried to cross a field he became surrounded by a heard of curious cows who trapped him against a bush, and into then into the arms of the waiting constabulary.

An officer at the scene commenting on the man’s actions said,  ‘Trying to escape?? How dairy (dare he!)”

And the incident was later described by police as a high “steaks” operation which would result in the man now “having to face the MOO SIC”!

And in the second hour we learnt about the woman PC discovered hiding in a wardrobe at an address being searched by police.

The wanted man was also present at the time of the raid.

Sounds like cupboard love to me!

It was alleged that PC ELAINE TAYLOR had “full knowledge” of the person police were hunting but chose to “acquiesce and ignore”.

Not surprisingly she was found guilty of gross misconduct and sacked without notice – clearly an “open and shut” case!

Well there you go!

Hope to see you again tomorrow,
Scott
