Our four featured football matches on this week’s show included Billericay Town’s trip to fellow Isthmian Premier League club Haringey Borough in the First Round Proper of the FA Trophy.
And goals from veteran Chris Dickson and John Ufuah – who bagged a brace – saw Ricay through to the next stage, which will see them face National League South outfit Bath City at New Lodge.
Heybridge Swifts of the Isthmian North are also through, after winning 2-0 away to Royston Town, and Steve Tilson’s side will take on Hereford of the National League North at home at the next hurdle.
The Second Round Proper will see non-League Step Two sides enter the contest, and Chelmsford City have been drawn at home to Redditch United of the Southern League Premier Division Central, whilst fellow National League South side Concord Rangers take on Southern League Premier Division South side Harrow Borough, and Braintree Town face Brackley Town of the National League North at Cressing Road.
Our featured Isthmian North match saw Hashtag United achieve a superb home victory, as they beat leaders Lowestoft Town 3-1 at the Len Salmon Stadium.
We also had two featured Essex Senior League matches, which saw 1-1 draws between Romford and West Essex and also Stansted and Buckhurst Hill.
