New Halloween show by theatre group is third in trilogy of plays

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

Local theatre group Early Doors came in to Spencer Carter’s Saturday afternoon show The Weekend Wind-Up to talk about their new Halloween show – an original production called Looking Glass.

Looking Glass is written by Early Doors members Justin Cartledge and Amy Clayton. They came in with cast members Richard, Paul and Bill to talk about how the play came about and how they found inspiration in Alice in Wonderland.

It’s the third in a trilogy of plays after 2015’s Wonderland and 2017’s Alice, and its spooky theme makes it perfect for a Halloween night out in our town. The show also has original music from Justin and Amy’s band Lady Grey and the Earls too.

You can see Looking Glass from October 27th – tickets are available via the Brentwood Theatre website and you can hear their interview again at www.phoenixfm.com.
