Keith Rogers chatted to Julia and Wendy on today’s show about how Essex is involved with Ukraine – and how we can all help.
Julia co-owns Schmidt Kitchens in Brentwood and Wendy is a host who is looking after a mum, daughter and granddaughter who have fled the fighting.
Both Schmidt Kitchens and Woodland Coffee Shop in Brentwood has set up a collection point for supplies for Ukraine. They are asking for sleeping bags, bedding, clothes, socks, scarfs, gloves, canned food, baby food, nappies, sanitary towels, and long life shelf food. You can find out more at the Essex Is United For Ukraine Facebook group.
