Keith Rogers chatted to Julia and Wendy on today’s show about how Essex is involved with Ukraine – and how we can all help.

Julia co-owns Schmidt Kitchens in Brentwood and Wendy is a host who is looking after a mum, daughter and granddaughter who have fled the fighting.

Both Schmidt Kitchens and Woodland Coffee Shop in Brentwood has set up a collection point for supplies for Ukraine. They are asking for sleeping bags, bedding, clothes, socks, scarfs, gloves, canned food, baby food, nappies, sanitary towels, and long life shelf food.
