This week’s Geezers, Pleasers and Cheesers was brought to you courtesy of 1989 – and it sounded fantastic. What a year for music 1989 was! The Geezers were owning it with the Stone Roses, Guns n Roses and Simple Minds, while the Pleasers were having it large with UB40, Tom Petty and Eurythmics; not allowing themselves to be upstaged the Cheesers hit back with Madonna, Donna Summer and Roxette.
