THOUSANDS flocked to Sun Corner in glorious sunshine for the return of the Rotary Club’s Billericay Soapbox Derby after an enforced two year break.
For the fifth edition of the Billericay race, 17 carts took to the track for three runs to determine the fastest soapbox in the east.
The winners were; FASTEST- Craig Smith (No. 3, SEVCVC) 29.45 secs
CORPORATE- Nick Lang (No. 8, Forward To The Past)
STUDENT – Mayflower School (No. 2, Tyrannasawus Wrexx)
WACKY – Jan Lewis (No. 12, Total Carnage)
