This evening’s Geezers, Pleasers & Cheesers was brought to you courtesy of 1952 – which you probably weren’t expecting! All of the acts on the show had someone in their group who are turning 70 this year – or to put it another way, celebrating a Platinum birthday in 2022. This week was heavy on the Geezers. We had The Ramones, The Clash and The Police. The Pleasers were equally good with Eurythmics, Shakespear’s Sister and The Selecter.
