Another busy May working week behind me and a start on another, all with an injury to my back- well you got to try have you not? Great timing as I prepare to change roles and my new day job. Still, to lighten the load I watched this year’s Eurovision song contest and whilst I regularly avoid this show like the plague, I felt I needed an easy watch and a good laugh. However, I didn’t see the usual crazy-enough ‘Euro Trash’ type bands this year, but new artists emulating known English speaking recording artists- albeit in their own native language and style. The whole thing felt more of a ‘stars in your eyes’ type feel of a show. Granted the 2022 edition still had the over the top style and robotic/wooden presenters, it just felt it all a bit Tres bland musically.

Plenty of euro and wider tracks this week, as we heard new music from Le Groupe Fantastique – Circuit3 – Dubstar – LorD and Master – Octolab – Field Glass – The Rotary Fifth, plus remixes and classic tracks.
