Sophie tells Drive show about new song, Tik Tok and more

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

We always love featuring local singer/songwriters on Phoenix FM and so it’s always good to get news of more new music releases from Hutton based musician Sophie Griffiths.

Sophie chatted to Stewart Pink on his Drive show about lots of different things – from her hilarious TikTok cover songs to her incredible new single “Machine”, which is inspired by her experiences of anxiety.

We also even managed to talk about Colin the Caterpillar and a quiz to discover “how old is your soul” as well as her upcoming headline gig and performing at the ubercool Great Escape Festival.

You can hear our interview with Sophie again at phoenixfm.com and also find Sophie and her music on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SophieGriffithsSinger/

* I’m currently walking from Land’s End to John O’Groats in aid of Saint Francis Hospice! I’m just about coming up to the end of my fourth week, having walked over 345 miles from Land’s End, and as you read this I’m taking a rest day in Shrewsbury. If you want to follow my journey visit www.facebook.com/lejog2022 and if you want to sponsor me you can go to www.justgiving.com/golder.
