Niall Stringer passed away earlier this year aged 17-years-old, sparking an outpouring of emotion from the community, including his rugby club. Very sadly, Niall took his own life.
He spent the last three years playing for Old Brentwood’s Rugby Club, and was described as an “exceptional talent”.
To tell us more about Niall, the response to his untimely death, and Sunday’s Memorial Day, Stephano Aylott, a coach from the club, joined me today.
You can listen to our conversation here –
I hope the memorial day is a great success and the message of “Keep Talking, Keep Listening and Keep Supporting” gets out there. Of course our thoughts and good wishes go out to Niall’s family.
