Free Bereavement Seminars and Memorial Service

The last two years has been a very difficult time and many have lost loved ones. Some were unable to be there in hospitals or care homes with their loved ones. Grief is different for everyone and if you are finding it difficult to talk to friends, family or struggling with a loss then you may want to attend a free Bereavement Seminar in Brentwood.

I spoke with Bridget Holley, Funeral Administrator at Bennett Funerals Ltd about their up and coming Bereavement Seminars which are free to attend. Bridget also talked about the Annual Memorial Service (details below).

BEREAVEMENT SEMINARS

Dr Bill Webster, Director of the Centre for Grief Journey can spend a little time with us; his first visit for three years.

On 17th May we have a FREE seminar for the bereaved with Dr Bill Webster at St Peter’s Church in Hutton, please pass the details to those who have suffered a loss, whether recently or some time age.  We can all get a little ‘stuck’ on our grief journey and need some help along the way.   Flyers are enclosed/attached with information, please sign up via this Eventbrite link www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/317687480807

The following day, 18th May, also at St Peter’s Church in Hutton Dr Bill is leading a FREE bereavement seminar for professionals, discussing the difficulties over the last two years and moving forwards; we would urge your team and colleagues to attend if they can, to listen to Dr Bill’s wise words and to share your experiences.  Please sign up via this Eventbrite link www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/317692836827.   Certificates will be provided if required for CPD.

On 22nd May we have our annual Memorial Service at The Regimental Chapel in Warley, this is a lovely service and follows on nicely from Dr Bill Webster’s seminar for the bereaved on 17th.   There is a chance to light candles and add loved one’s names to our memory tree.  Refreshments are served after the service. A flyer is enclosed/attached. To help with refreshments provision please sign up via the weblink are www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/317707259967
