Michelle Ward chatted to Jade Bolton about the Essex Map on her Eat My Brunch show last week.

The Essex Map is a free tool designed to bring communities closer together by helping people find services, groups and activities available in our area.

The idea is the brainchild of Mind in West Essex, who saw how Covid has hit our local communities hard. It is extremely important for people’s wellbeing, mental and physical health that they start accessing their communities again.

The Map was specifically created to promote the work of organisations and individuals who work hard to make our communities better, rather than those who focus on making a profit.

It’s a free service for any not-for-profit organisation or business that supports the community or runs a group, activity or event in Essex.
