‘Allo ‘Allo! We are delighted to see Vicki return to her Sunday show

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

Listen very carefully, I will say this only once!

After a nine month break we are delighted to be welcoming Vicki Michelle back to the airwaves with her show Vix Mix.

Vicki is, of course, one of the stars of ‘Allo ‘Allo!, the BBC sitcom which, at its peak, was getting a weekly audience of 14 million viewers.

She has also appeared in many other programmes too, playing Patricia Foster in Emmerdale and was a contestant in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

Vicki joined Phoenix FM as a regular presenter in October 2017 but took a break last summer to appear in a number of theatre productions, including Hello Norma Jeane, Dirty Dusting and Cinderella and the Lost Slipper.

After a break of nine months she is back in her regular slot of Sundays 2pm to 4pm, with a mix of great music from the 50s through to the present day.

There’s a lot of Motown, soul and funk in every show – Vicki says that she always wants to make people get up and dance, and I can confirm this is true as she is always making me get up and dance when I am producing her show.

We’re also hoping for more celebrity interviews – in previous shows she’s spoken on air to many of the people she’s worked with, including Rick Wakeman, Harry Redknapp, John Challis, Ray Cooney, Linda Lusardi and Robin Askwith.

You can hear Vicki every Sunday on 98FM and online, and all of her shows are podcasted to listen again after they have been broadcast.
