This week its all about storytelling and mothers! We spoke to Ros Green from the Essex Book festival who has the most incredible programme this year. It will keep everyone entertained and intrigued through June with a world of fun and storytelling; also as it is the day of mums today, we have been exploring what makes a terrible mother in art & culture, with motherly trials and tribulations of literature, film and visual art.

We have also enjoyed songs that have been about ‘mother’ and females who take on the role, from Brandi Carlisle’s – ‘The Mother’ to Sugarland’s ‘Mother’.
