Tonight we marked International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month with tracks by some of our favourite local (& international) female performers, and chatted to film-maker Leigh Trifari. Originally from New York, now based in the UK, Leigh has extensive experience both in front of and behind the camera as an actress and producer (which, as we discussed, can entail absolutely anything!), as well as helping new film-makers get support in the industry with the International Independent Producers Guild (IIPG). With upcoming projects including the WW2 historical drama Memento Mori Project and an Eartha Kitt biopic alongside her already impressive portfolio, we’re going to be seeing much more of Leigh and her work in the coming months!
