This week, we start by paying tribute to one of the great names of West Indian cricket Sonny Ramadhin, who passed away this week. His bowling exploits in the 1950 Test series against England were immortalised in a celebratory calypso by Lord Beginner. He will be much missed.

We talk to former England test opener Michael Carberry about the stresses and strains on an Ashes tour Down Under and really that being beaten heavily there is nothing new! He also tells us about his current work coaching youngsters and highlights the Easter training camp he is doing, along his good friend, former Surrey star Scott Newman. Email newman500@btinternet.com to book your place!

We also catch up with another former Surrey player Rikki Clarke, who is also running an Easter camp over at Godalming as part of his academy, Click here…

Finally, we travel the airwaves to Barbados to speak with Roland Butcher as England prepare for their Test series against the West Indies. We get the thoughts of the first black player to play Test cricket for England and learn details of his upcoming visit to England this summer, along with his great friend, Desmond Haynes, the West Indies legend.. For full details on how you can meet Roland and Desmond or even maybe get them to visit your club, please email shawn@intunecom.co.uk

Plus all the latest results, news and chat from around the world of cricket, with some music thrown in too!

Show first broadcast on Thursday, 3rd. March 2022 on Phoenix 98FM.
