A second look at “bloody” Queen Mary

Last week, Margaret looked closely at the Essex links forged by Queen Mary and Margaret returned to this subject this week to look specifically at the “Blackwater Estuary Plan” devised to whisk Queen Mary out of the country had she been threatened by her younger brother, King Edward VI but after he died aged just 16, Mary forcibly took the throne and so no longer needed an escape route.
