The Essex Community Tree is a network of partner organisations who provide support for people that are experiencing mental ill-health or related problems.
I was pleased to welcome Peter Ferrier to the Phoenix FM studio today to tell us all about it.
Peter spoke about his own mental health journey and how he became involved with, initially, Brentwood Community Print and latterly The Essex Community Tree. We heard about how it all got started, how it is run entirely by volunteers, the website and how it helps signpost people to organisations that can be of most help to them.
