Tonight I chatted to Rich Burns, the creator, producer, director and star of The Disappointments, an LA-based, LGBTQ-themed comedy drama web series which went viral upon its premiere on YouTube back in November. Chatting direct from Los Angeles, Rich told us about how his own life experiences shaped the series’ creation, the crowdfunding campaigns that got the filming off the ground, the fundraising campaign for season 2, and his tips for aspiring film-makers.
