And The Winner is….. The Olive Branch!

Christmas has come and gone but a little bit of Christmas spirit returned to Billericay High Street today.

Cllr Jo Clark was delighted to present a cheque for £100 to The Olive Branch who were the winners of the Billericay Town Council Best Christmas shop window competition. The Olive Branch chose to donate the money to Basildon Mind and handed over the cheque to the charity this morning. Basildon Mind was set up over 40 years ago and became a registered charity within the voluntary sector. Since then, they have been helping people who experience mental distress to be empowered to gain a better quality of life. To find out more about Basildon Mind go to http://www.basmind.org/
