The first of two special bumper shows featuring my favourite songs of 2021. I literally couldn’t narrow it down below 96 tracks – they are all songs that I want to play on the show and none of them can be left out because they’re “not good enough”. We also chatted to Shattercones, who’ve recently released their second EP, This Septic Isle. They have an amazing sound which I described as “Sad Ennio Morricone” although their music is also angry, thoughtful, explosive and beautiful too.
