Loved presenting my show today!
I also loved helping Father Christmas last night. I joined with members of The Lions Club Billericay to guide Father Christmas and his sleigh around some of the streets of Billericay on their annual charity appeal.
It was a great fun night, even if my feet did ache a bit afterwards after two and a half hours! People were always pleased to see us and it was great to see the wonder in the children’s faces as well as collecting lots of lovely lolly for the Lions charities.
Other things making the headlines on today’s show were –
A walking football tournament staged at Billericay Town’s New Lodge ground has raised valuable funds for the Billericay Food Bank
Ed Sheeran and Elton John fly straight to Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart with their new collaboration Merry Christmas.

Monkees singer and guitarist Michael Nesmith, died Friday from natural causes. He was 78.
Cornish comedian Jethro has died at the age of 73
The history of Christmas Crackers
A double request for one of Billericay’s community heroes, Adam Adshead
