Welcome to the darkness that is October, with all the spookiness of the season, with the hunt for ghouls and ghosties, or as we know it current as ‘Petrol and Diesel’. I myself am in that group too, as it is a real oddity of the modern world, to be held my fuel companies and if I was a conspiracy theorist. I would swear this is a timely ruse to get more people to go for Electric Cars. If it wasn’t for the fact I know we don’t give enough support for our UK truck drivers. Not just better paid better but the respect they get from when they are on the continent compared with the low-rent attitude of UK. I remember the days of loads of motorway cafes full of truck drivers and back then they even had their own chocolate bar. Until we learn to teleport goods and services they provide us, I say we need to look after our truckers and realize their importance.
On my chatty bit wise, I wondered if you have ever driven a truck or been a passenger in one, after all, there doesn’t seem to be many songs about this pursuit. Or are there?
