As the Essex league season comes to an end, we take a look at the winners and losers from across the division and we chat to Rob Hayto, Vice Chairman at newly-crowned Hamro Foundation Essex Premier League champions Chelmsford CC.
England continue their Test series against India and we get an update ahead of the final Test, which begins at Old Trafford tomorrow, with the news of another positive Covid test in the India camp hanging over proceedings. England has also announced a preliminary squad for next month’s T20 World Cup and we assess their chances. It’s also been a frantic week in the County Championship with wickets tumbling everywhere amid an outcry for a review of the county set-up, so that it better prepares players for Test cricket.
There’s also the usual mix of chat, features and the long-awaited return of Webby to the studio!!!
