As I was away on my holiday this week, I prepared a pre-recorded show for you instead, which was been a real labour of love to produce. In fact, it took me twice as long to produce, than it will take you to listen to. Fifteen gloriously entertaining and informative links (that would be worthy of a community radio award nomination if I could be bothered to enter such things) were recorded at home on my Blue Yeti microphone. Then they were added to the music and jingles and all mixed together using Audacity software to recreate the buzz of a live show, minus a can of Carling.
Unfortunately, I felt the sound quality of the recorded links was a little bit flat and lifeless, and I originally blamed the software for this. Then I realised no, that’s just how I sound sober.
