In this week’s show we paid tribute to Steve ‘Louder than loud and broader than Broadway’ Walsh.  We also played a song by The Divine Comedy about a nation England didn’t knock out of Euro 2020. Then New Order knocked Three Lions into a cocked hat.  We remembered Tim Buckley and the lovely Syreeta, and asked the question when were 10cc Not In Love and Jazzy B both number one? Plus played the brand new single ‘Footsteps’ from Gordon Taggart, which I have a feeling we’ll be playing that again and again over the coming weeks. Plus we doffed our cap to a great heavenly bode album from the Small Faces, with plenty of Unwinese chattage into the microphocus, sound mixy, faders trickly-how up and down, just so and the sliding needload on the groobers of a record. Deep joy.
