Well, I have to say, right from the start here that I forget the Eurovision song contest was on the TV this weekend just gone; not that I’m a big fan or even a regular viewer of it at all. But I do believe it to be pure entertainment- so I feel a little gutted about my loss of culture too. Especially, as the good old UK weather has been wobbly all week, lacking in glamour and generally, things in life are still at a snail’s pace. Yes. I could read comments on social media afterwards, but reading any random comments and watching the sparkling camp fun music event isn’t the same- dam you 2021.
So, on my chatty bit wise, I asked if you did watch the Eurovision song contest this year, what were the highlights or did you deliberately avoid it and if so, why?
