In tonight’s Orient Hour Extra hosts Steve Tongue and Billy Herring are joined by O’s Board member, Matt Porter; former O, Gary Alexander and O’s legendary commentator, Dave Victor to discuss the managerial appointment of Kenny Jackett.
Matt gives some background to Kenny Jackett, the candidate, explaining the Board’s process for the appointment as well as explaining details of budgets, contracts and the need for some stability.
Gary gives some first hand experience of Kenny Jackett, the manager, praising his management style and his willingness to adapt to the opposition and pitch conditions and saying he likes to be a ‘hands on’ coach as well as manager.
The Panel and guests also speak generally about Kenny Jackett, the person.
