Dr Grant on Mental Health

This week is dedicated to a matter very close to my heart- mental health awareness. To talk about how we can all help ourselves and each other, Dr Grant from the Priory Group in Chelmsford joined me on Drive, and we discussed how the pandemic has affected mental health across the world, as well as the issues many are facing as lockdown lifts.

It is so important to remember that our mental health is just as important as our physical health, and therefore we should be actively working on it in the same way we would exercise and eat well for our physical health. Why not try using this week to check in with yourself, and those around you, in whatever way works best for you- from getting out in nature, to practicing some mindfulness?

Dr Grant also provided some great advice on how you can get help if you think you need it, from simply checking the NHS website and downloading useful apps, to seeking professional help, whether that be from your GP, or from the Priory Group.
