Stewart has become a chart star with poetry collection

Paul Golder writes for the Brentwood Gazette

The last 12 months have been a tough time for many of us but it’s also given inspiration to many artists, musicians and writers too.

Our Friday lunchtime presenter Stewart Pink has definitely been inspired. As well as featuring poetry regularly on his show and publishing a poetry podcast, he has also published a book of poems he has written, titled Pandemic Poetry: The Covid Collection.

The book is a collection of many of the “witty ditties” he has featured on his show over the last year and he’s also become a chart superstar, making the top 20 Poetry chart in Amazon’s listings!

Stewart has told us that if he’d charged more than 99p for the book he might have actually made some money after the publishing fees he’s paid out, so the good news is that we’re not losing him from the airwaves just yet.

As well as his Friday lunchtime show Stewart can also be heard every Saturday evening at 10pm presenting The As Yet Untitled Rock Show.

All of the shows and podcasts can be heard again at phoenixfm.com amd Stewart’s book is available at Amazon UK too.
