Greg LeVan is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who writes free-form indie rock music. He is an Electric Vehicle Design Engineer by day, and proficient guitarist by night; currently residing in the hills of North Carolina.
Greg’s guitar playing blends lyrical melodic lines with pure outbursts of passionate emotion. Greg has experienced years of life in various cities, deserts, coastal and inland locations and takes inspiration from these experiences to weave a musical fabric together. Greg’s goal through his music is to bring a light and hope to someone struggling, and to provide encouragement not to give up. He works to continuously grow as a melodic song writer, achieving the best that is in him, while simultaneously giving the listener more to hang onto. Greg knows well that music stirs the soul, and is healing- if you allow it.
2020 was a landmark year for Greg. He released the ‘High Point Basement’ album and followed up with the single ‘Rise Up’ that collectively garnered over 60k Spotify streams in 6 months and saw his follower count on the platform grow by 50x to more than 500.
His latest single ‘End Game’ released April 16th, and marks a return to the full-band feel while still incorporating inspiring melodies. It also marks the first time Greg has incorporated mandolin into the mix. The basic premise and imagery behind the song is to be cautious about one’s use of social media.
