A woman has revealed her daily cleaning schedule – and it’s pretty intense.

The rota, which you can buy on Etsy, details a list of things-to-do each day – except for Sunday – to keep the house clean and tidy.

She shared the schedule to the Clean, Declutter, Organise Your Home UK group on Facebook where fellow parents say they’ felt “shattered just looking at it”.

According to the list, Monday is ‘bedroom day,’ which involves changing the sheets, hoovering, dusting and polishing the furniture.

You’ll also need to declutter for 10 minutes as well as wipe down the mirror and the fan.

Tuesday is ‘bathroom day’ – so, unsurprisingly, you’ll need to do a full wipe down of your shower, toilet, sink and mirror, before you mop the floor, restock the toiletries and change the towels over.
‘Kitchen day’ is next, so besides cleaning the sides and moping, making sure the fridge is clear of any old food and taking the rubbish out is also on the to-do list.

Then on Thursday, you’ll tackle the living room – from dusting the furniture and cleaning the TV, to freshening the fabrics with Febreeze and decluttering – there’s plenty to get on with.

Friday, on the other hand, is a little different.

Each week of the month, the task will alternate – so for example, in week one you’ll clean all appliances and in week four you’ll wipe down the walls and baseboards.

Saturdays are for cleaning the car and straightening up the garage, and Sunday is a day of rest, which fellow group members say the woman will need after all of the work she gets done.

One woman said: “Is this from the ’50s? No way is that going to happen in my house. I am worn out just looking at it.”

“None of that’s on my list, I enjoy life too much and my home is clean what a load of rubbish,” said another.

A third added: “I’m shattered looking at that.”

“This list isn’t possible for anyone who works outside the home full-time (and still wants to sleep). Though I’d LIKE to get this list done,” said a fourth.

But others who loved the idea were eager to follow the list themselves, as one said: “I joined this group because of this schedule!! I need some motivation and this might seem difficult but good to have something to aim for!!!”

Someone else replied: “Love this list, I printed it off so should I need a hand while I’m Ill I can say look on the list and pick a job. Thank you.”

Whilst another put: “Why is everyone saying this is impossible if you have a job? It probably takes 30 mins a day, and you have to do all these things anyway.”
